Technical Informations

  • SCIENTIFIC PROGRAM

The main program includes 5 invited plenary lectures, 5 symposia and 2 poster sessions. Symposia and plenary lectures will take place in the Conference Hall on level -1 of the Northern Building. Posters and exhibitions will be displayed in the Aula on the ground floor of the same building. You can find important dates and the detailed timetable in the Scientific Program. The deadline for submitting abstracts is January 8, 2011.
  • ORAL PRESENTATIONS

For the lecturers computer presentation facilities will be provided (MS Office XP, Power Point). Lecturers are kindly asked to give their presentations on pen-drive or on CD to the technician before the morning or the afternoon session. Any special needs (e.g. the use of own laptop) should be discussed in time with the technician.
We ask the lecturers and the symposium organisers to keep the time limits strictly.
  • POSTER PRESENTATIONS

Posters will be presented in two sections, on Thursday and Friday respectively. Posters are expected to be mounted in the morning before the scientific sessions. Stands are 90x120 cm in portrait format, and will be numbered in advance. Tools necessary for fixing the posters will be provided on the spot.
Posters presented by students as first authors will automatically take part in the poster competition.
Presenters of posters are kindly asked to remove their posters from the stands at the end of the day.
  • PUBLICATION

The conference abstracts will be published in the online journal Frontiers in Neuroscience (http://www.frontiersin.org/events/neuroscience).
  • EXHIBITION

Exhibitors' stands will be on display throughout the conference next to the poster area.
